At Epsom & Ewell, we aspire to deliver high quality services to our residents. We might be small, but we have big plans to serve our population of 80,000 residents. We are investing in our future, increasing strategic capacity and exploring new ways of working.

Our long-term vision for the Borough tells us where we want to be and how we’re going to get there. This new role will be crucial to delivering that vision and the aspirations of local people, as well as driving forward key deliverables from our Four Year and Recovery Plans.

The Enforcement Operations Supervisor is a new role which provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to create and development enforcement procedures and protocols, while enhancing the Borough, the Council and their own professional portfolio.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and motivated individual to provide expertise to the organisation in tackling various forms of anti-social activity within the Borough.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an enforcement role, supervising a team, developing and maintaining processes and procedures, be able to demonstrate effective communication and to make decisions to provide strategic and operational advice to Councillors, staff, key stakeholders and members of the public.

You will be expected to work flexibly, including weekends, providing day to day supervision of a team that will be dealing with a range of enforcement activities including but not limited to littering, dog fouling, graffiti, abandoned vehicles, fly tipping and flyposting.  You will also provide supervisory support to the car parks and parking enforcement team in the absence of the Parking Operations Supervisor.

You will join Epsom and Ewell Council at an exciting time when you can help shape its future as we build back better following the pandemic and organisational change.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional and committed team and we look forward to receiving your application.

Closing date: Thursday 30th September 2021
