Vasilis Xenopoulos is considered to be one of the most accomplished Greek contemporary musicians of his generation and celebrated tenor sax.

He will be accompanied by Nigel Price, the UK’s top jazz guitarist, leading the evening’s modern jazz quartet.

Maria Christina Harper Trio w. Josephine Davies sax and Evan Jenkins drums

St Mary’s Sessions are thrilled to present award winning Electric Jazz harpist and composer Maria-Christina Harper (Katie Melua, Ala.ni), and winner of the 2019 Parliamentary jazz awards saxophonist Josephine Davies they produce a dynamic harp-led project. Together they recorded Harper’s original songs and compositions that reinvent the sound of the harp in the jazz world. Maria-Christina’s unique playing on her harp is fused with Josephine’s characteristic and warm sound on the saxophone. They are joined by Evan Jenkins (Eric Clapton) on the drums.
