This Sunday 3rd March is the National Day Of Reflection. A moment to remember everyone who died during the pandemic and those affected by their loss.
On Sunday Epsom & Ewell Councillors will be laying yellow ribbons on each of the 15 benches around the Borough on Sunday. To find your nearest bench CLICK HERE
At 10am in Alexandra Park the Mayor of Epsom & Ewell will say a few words before laying the ribbon. He will be joined by a local resident’s daughter, whose father passed away from Covid and who is making the ribbon tributes.
These events are relatively informal events, with a few moments of reflection before placing the ribbon on the benches. Also, on Sunday the clock tower in the Marketplace will be lit up in yellow to mark the Day of Reflection. Two books of remembrance are open in the Town Hall and Bourne Hall.
Marie Curie UK has set up a special website with information and support. For More Details Click Link https://dayofreflection.org.uk/
