Hours: 35.25 per week, 8.45am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.45am – 4pm on Friday, 1 hour unpaid lunch each day.
Salary: £31,971 per annum
About The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Creative Arts Manager (known internally as Team Leader) to oversee a team of 8 Art Tutors delivering creative skills training aimed at promoting the wellbeing and personal development of adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
In this role, you will guide and inspire the team to integrate creative practices into a variety of creative arts mediums that align with the personal objectives of the people we support, fostering both their mental health and overall development. You will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages self-expression, personal growth, and builds confidence. Additionally, the role includes facilitating work-related opportunities and enterprise activities.
You’ll need to have natural empathy, great people and organisational skills, a positive approach and of course a passion and skill in at least one area of creative arts.
There’s a huge emphasis on teamwork and you’ll play an important part in a committed and welcoming team.
