Epsom Common Discovery Day

There will be a series of guided walks on Epsom Common to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Epsom Common Association.

Come on a guided walk to find out about the fauna and flora of Epsom Common. 

Families with children very welcome, as are well-behaved dogs, on leads.

The guided walks will start at Stew Pond Meadow and be led by members of Epsom & Ewell Borough Council Countryside Team. The walks will last about 1.5 hours, except the wild flower walk, which will be about 2 hours.


10.00 & 13.30 – Wildlife Safari

11.30 & 15.00 – History & Management of Epsom Common

14.00 – Wild Flower Walk

Places may be available on the day, but priority will be given to those who have booked.

If conditions permit, there may be pond dipping and bug hunting, at Stew Ponds Meadow.

Parking is limited at the Stew Ponds car park, but the Horton Country Park car park (and toilets) are about 20 minutes walk away.
