Christine Cunnold, soprano & Richard Harker, pianist, bring into the spotlight the extraordinary talents of female song composers, from Ethel Smyth and Liza Lehmann through to Judith Weir and Madeleine Dring. They delve into the range of styles and topics that female composers have chosen to write, from the serious to the carefree.
Chistine is equally at home in the world of opera – she’s sung with the Royal Opera and English National Opera – as she is in the concert hall. Richard is not only a pianist and organist but is also Chorus Master at Opera Holland Park and is Musical Director of a number of choirs and choral societies.
Admission is free but we ask for donations to enable us to continue to offer great music at St Martin’s.
