Spring Craft Fair

Visitors will be able to view and purchase contemporary craft and art whilst enjoying the beautiful spring garden with its huge plant collection. Once again, alongside the marquees displaying and selling the work of some of the UK’s finest designer makers, the event will incorporate demonstrating artists, a food village and live music! Pre-book your tickets on line at no extra cost to normal garden entry. Please note the Craft Fair will open from 9am at the weekend.

Macramé Plant Pot Holder Workshop

Friday 23rd February, 6:30 – 9:30pm

Create a beautiful hanging plant pot holder. Using a variety of knots, including a half knot spiral, plus learn how to add beads. Please bring your own empty plant pot – roughly 12cm-16cm in diameter. Each participant will make a holder to perfectly fit their individual pot.

All materials will be provided, participants can take the plant pot home after the session.

About the tutor:
Imogen Curran began her career in a couture fashion house pattern-cutting and sewing bespoke garments for royalty and celebrities, including stunning wedding dresses. She later worked as a costumier for London’s West End theatre shows. Imogen has always been a keen crafter with many projects on the go at once and will be offering a modern twist on macramé.
