WITH THE UK’S BUSIEST WEDDING WEEKEND IN SIGHT, BROOK TAVERNER LETS GUILDFORD GROOMS GO FREE
As peak wedding season approaches and Southeast wedding costs rising above £22,000, Brook Taverner is helping wedding parties take the groom’s suit off the bill with its limited-time Groom Goes Free offer.
Brook Taverner, the British menswear brand with more than 100 years of tailoring heritage, is helping wedding parties across the Southeast make one saving from the cost of their big day with the launch of its new Groom Goes Free offer.
Available from 10 August until 11 September, the in-store offer gives the groom a free suit when a wedding party buys four or more qualifying suits during the same visit to a participating Brook Taverner store.
The offer arrives as wedding season reaches its busiest point with 23rd August recorded as the UK’s most popular wedding date, with more than 3,500 weddings taking place on that day in 2025. At the same time, weddings in the Southeast cost an average of £22,600, a figure which has risen from £16,500 in 2022.
With suits, fittings and group purchases often arranged in the final run-up to a wedding, Brook Taverner’s offer is designed to make the process simpler, with one less cost to carry.
Wedding appointments remain one of Brook Taverner’s busiest in-store services throughout the summer, with groups increasingly looking for expert fitting advice and the flexibility for each member of the party to choose a style that suits them individually.
Wedding parties do not need to choose matching suits or buy from the same range. Qualifying suits can be selected from different ranges, allowing each member of the party to find a style and fit that feels right for them, while the groom’s suit is supplied free of charge.
Oliver Campbell, Retail Director at Brook Taverner, said: “A wedding is one of the biggest days in a person’s life, and choosing what the wedding party will wear should feel exciting, not complicated. We want to make wedding tailoring simple, stress-free and great value – with the quality, fit and service people want for such an important occasion.
“Groom Goes Free is part of that experience. It gives wedding parties a reason to shop together, coordinate their look and benefit from expert fitting advice, while making sure the groom and his party feel confident from the first fitting to the big day.”
The Groom Goes Free offer is available exclusively in participating Brook Taverner stores. Customers should speak to their local store for full terms, qualifying products and availability.
The offer is available at Brook Taverner stores in Windsor, Ambleside, Chester, Chichester, Horsham, Canterbury and Guildford, giving wedding parties peace of mind when it comes to tailoring, quality and value.
