Witness appeal after affray in Dorking: Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after an affray in Dorking earlier today (2 August).
Officers were called to West Street in Dorking at around 2pm, following reports of a man with a knife in the street. Church Street and West Street were closed while officers attended.
A 29-year-old man from Dorking has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and affray. He remains in police custody.
Detective Constable Elliott Abdo said: “We would like to reassure the public that this appears to be an isolated incident, and we do not believe there is any risk to the wider community. We would like to thank the public for their patience whilst officers dealt with this incident.”
