Chinese New Year Festival

Join us at Metropolis Epsom as we celebrate the Chinese New Year with a vibrant community celebration full of colour, culture, and family fun!

Event Schedule:

Arts & Crafts (12 PM – 2 PM)

1. Kick off the day with our interactive craft workshop, where children can create their very own Chinese lanterns to celebrate good luck and new beginnings.

🦁 Lion Dance (2 PM – 3 PM)

1. Experience the excitement and energy of the traditional Lion Dance as it fills the square with music, movement, and celebration — a symbol of joy and prosperity for the year ahead.

🎨 Face Painting (All Afternoon)

1. Let the kids enjoy some festive fun with colourful designs inspired by Chinese New Year symbols and traditions.
